Section 01

About the studio

What KalaKruti is, who is behind it, and what you get.

Is KalaKruti only for Svetambara Jain designs?

Yes. We deliberately do one tradition properly instead of several badly. Every template, clipart, font, parv date and check in the studio is built for Svetambara use.

Who is behind KalaKruti?

KalaKruti is a Param Path project. Param Path is a leading Jain design group founded by Prashant Chourdia, with ten years of Jain design work behind it, carried out under the guidance of more than twenty Acharya Bhagwants and fifty Sadhu Bhagwants.

Do I need any design skill?

No. You pick a template, tap the text to change it, add your sangh or family name, and download. Most people finish their first design in under five minutes.

Can I use my own photographs?

Yes. Upload gurudev photos, derasar images or family pictures from the studio and drop them into any template. They stay private to your account.

What sizes do I get?

Square posts, 4:5 posts, 9:16 stories and 16:9 banners, all exported at print-usable resolution. The same design can be switched between sizes without redoing it.

Section 02

Jain ethics and correctness

How designs are checked, why we work only in the Svetambara tradition, and who reviews them.

What does 'Jain ethics checked' actually mean?

Every design passes a rulebook before publishing: correct lanchan for each Tirthankara, correct swastik form with three dots and siddhashila, no borrowed iconography, correct Svetambara depiction, no kandmool in food graphics, verified Prakrit text, and tithi-correct dates.

Why only Svetambara?

Because getting one tradition right is already demanding work. Idol depiction, monk and sadhviji imagery, parv naming, the Ashtamangal set and the panchang all differ between sampradays. Rather than approximate several, we build for Svetambara practice and say so plainly.

Will the AI ever produce something incorrect?

The AI only assembles from a reviewed library and is constrained by the rule engine — it cannot invent a Tirthankara emblem or mix in non-Jain symbols. Anything it cannot verify is left for you to fill rather than guessed.

Who reviews the designs?

The Param Path team, under the guidance of the twenty-plus Acharya Bhagwants and fifty-plus Sadhu Bhagwants who advise the group. Templates are drawn from Svetambara reference material and signed off before they reach the library. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we correct it and re-publish.

Section 03

Pricing and the free week

What costs what, and what happens when the free week ends.

How is the first week free?

New accounts can claim the launch offer: seven days of unlimited, watermark-free exports at no cost. No card is needed and nothing renews automatically when the week ends.

What happens after the free week?

Nothing is charged. Your designs stay saved in your dashboard, exports simply return to the watermarked free tier until you take a pass.

Is this cheaper than a local designer?

A single poster from a designer usually runs ₹500 to ₹2,000 and takes a day or two of back-and-forth. A month pass costs less than three posters and covers unlimited designs.

Can our sangh pay for one shared account?

Yes. Many sanghs run a single account managed by one or two volunteers. Write to us if you need a longer arrangement for a trust or mandal.

Section 04

Using the editor

Saving, fonts, resolution and printing.

Where are my designs saved?

Every design stays in your dashboard and can be reopened and edited later — useful when next year's parv card only needs the dates changed.

Do the Devanagari fonts render correctly?

Yes. The studio ships Devanagari fonts chosen for correct conjunct rendering, so Navkar and Prakrit text does not break into wrong glyph shapes.

Can I print these, or are they only for WhatsApp?

Both. Exports are high enough resolution for flex banners and printed invitations, not just screens.

Still unsure about something?
