About
परस्परोपग्रहो जीवानाम्
Souls render service to one another.
That line from the Tattvartha Sutra is the whole idea. A sangh gives its time, its money and its shraddha freely. The least we can do is make sure it does not lose thousands of rupees a year to something as ordinary as a poster.
Why we started
It began with a Paryushan notice.
Eight days of Paryushan, eight different notices. Each one paid for, each one waited on, each one needing a small correction that turned into another bill. By the end of one parv a modest sangh had spent more on design than on the bhojanshala.
And the designs were rarely right. A Ganesh motif on a Jain invitation. A swastik without its three dots. Parshvanath printed with the wrong emblem entirely. Not out of disrespect — the designer simply had no way of knowing.
So the question was simple: what if the tool itself understood Jainism? What if the rules — ahimsa in imagery, the right lanchan, correct Svetambara depiction, tithi, aahar, tone — were built into the software rather than left to somebody's memory?
That is KalaKruti. Premium Svetambara design that a trustee can make in four minutes, for a price that does not make the committee wince, and that is correct without anyone having to check.
णमो अरिहंताणं
The first line of the Navkar Mahamantra — and the first text block we verified letter by letter, because getting this one wrong was not an option.
Param Path
Param Path is India's leading Jain design group, founded by Prashant Chourdia. Over ten years the group has built Jain design work for sanghs, trusts, mahotsav committees and families across India.
What makes that work dependable is not the software. It is that every project Param Path takes on is carried out under the guidance of more than twenty Acharya Bhagwants and fifty Sadhu Bhagwants. When a question arises about a symbol, a wording, an idol depiction or a tithi, it is not settled by a designer's judgement — it is put to those qualified to answer it.
KalaKruti is a Param Path project and sits under that same guidance. The rulebook you can read on our ethics page is simply what the group has learned over a decade, written down so that software can enforce it.

What we are building
Three promises we hold ourselves to.
01
Svetambara only, done properly
We are not a general template site with a Jain folder. Every clipart, font, festival and rule in this studio exists for Svetambara practice — one tradition, understood properly.
02
Correct before beautiful
A design that looks wonderful and carries the wrong lanchan has failed. Correctness is the first check and beauty is the second, never the other way round.
03
Priced so a sangh can say yes
The whole point is to stop money leaking out on design. If our pricing ever stops being obviously cheaper than a designer, we have lost the plot.
How we work
The vows, applied to a business.
The same five principles that shape the designs also shape how the studio itself is run.
अहिंसा
Non-violence
No imagery that depicts, implies or celebrates harm to any living being — down to the feather on a Saraswati motif.
सत्य
Truth
Dates, titles, honorifics and mantra text are verified. We would rather leave a field blank than print something wrong.
अस्तेय
Non-stealing
Every clipart, font and photograph in the library is originally drawn or properly licensed. Nothing is lifted from a WhatsApp forward.
ब्रह्मचर्य
Restraint
Modest, dignified figures and framing throughout. Nothing suggestive ever enters a dharmic design.
अपरिग्रह
Non-possession
Restrained design and honest pricing. You take only the passes you need, and we do not upsell what you will not use.
