Why we started
Jain money goes to waste
on design every single year.
Not because anyone is careless — because there was no other way. A sangh needs forty designs a year and the only option was to pay per poster, wait, and hope it comes back correct.
₹500 – ₹2,000 for one poster
Paid again for every parv, every tithi, every small correction. A single Paryushan week can cross ₹5,000 on its own.
Two days of waiting
The notice is needed for tomorrow's pravachan. It arrives the evening after, and by then the timing has changed.
Charged again for a date change
One wrong tithi, one extra trustee name, and the file comes back as a fresh invoice rather than a small edit.
And still not Jain-correct
A Ganesh motif on a Jain invite, a swastik drawn without its three dots, the wrong lanchan on a Tirthankara.

Param Path is India's leading Jain design group, founded by Prashant Chourdia. Ten years of Jain design work sits behind this studio, and every project the group takes on — including KalaKruti — is carried out under the guidance of 20+ Acharya Bhagwants and 50+ Sadhu Bhagwants.
That guidance is the reason we can promise correctness rather than merely hope for it. When a question comes up about a symbol, a wording or a tithi, it is not settled by a designer's judgement — it is put to those qualified to answer.

The difference
An AI that has been taught
Jain ethics and Jain logic.
Most design tools know what looks good. Ours knows what is correct. Before any design reaches you it passes a rulebook written for Jain practice — so you never have to check whether the symbol, the sect or the wording is right.
Ahimsa in every frame
Ahimsa Paramo DharmaPeacock feathers plucked, leather-bound books, animals shown as food, weapons in a warrior motif.
Only shed feathers, cloth and paper textures, and living beings shown at rest. No design leaves the studio carrying violence in it.
The right lanchan on the right Jina
Mahavir Swami shown with a serpent hood, or Parshvanath with a lion at his feet.
Each of the 24 Tirthankaras is locked to their own emblem — bull for Rishabhdev, serpent for Parshvanath, lion for Mahavir, deer for Shantinath. The studio will not let you swap them.
No borrowed iconography
A Ganesh motif on a Paryushan invite, or the Hindu Om used in place of the Jain Omkar.
Jain designs carry only Jain symbols. The Jain Omkar, Siddhachakra, Ashtamangal and Navkar are drawn to their own tradition and never substituted.
The Swastik drawn correctly
A tilted or left-facing swastik, or one floating without its three dots.
Always upright and right-facing, with the three ratna dots and the siddhashila crescent above — the four gatis beneath, liberation on top.
Twenty-four checks run on every design — from the lanchan on a Tirthankara to whether a food graphic contains kandmool. You get the whole rulebook, in plain language, before you ever click export.

The Svetambara calendar
Every parv, on the right tithi.
Dates follow the Svetambara panchang, not a fixed English calendar — so Paryushan, Samvatsari, Oli and each kalyanak shift correctly every year.

From the sangh
Trustees, teachers and committees.
The people who were paying the design bills every parv — and what changed for them.
During Paryushan we need a fresh notice every single day. Earlier we paid our designer per poster and still waited till evening. Now our trustee makes them himself, before morning pravachan.
What convinced me was the detail. The swastik was drawn properly with the three dots, and Parshvanath had the serpent, not a lion. Someone who understands Jainism has made this.
We made 41 cards for our diksha mahotsav — invitations, schedules, banners, all matching. A designer had quoted us more than the month pass for four of them.
The Micchami Dukkadam cards were the first thing I tried. Twelve versions for twelve families in ten minutes, each with their own name.

Questions
The things people ask first.
If something is still unclear, write to us — a person replies, not a form.
Is KalaKruti only for Svetambara Jain designs?
Yes. We deliberately do one tradition properly instead of several badly. Every template, clipart, font, parv date and check in the studio is built for Svetambara use.
How is the first week free?
New accounts can claim the launch offer: seven days of unlimited, watermark-free exports at no cost. No card is needed and nothing renews automatically when the week ends.
What does 'Jain ethics checked' actually mean?
Every design passes a rulebook before publishing: correct lanchan for each Tirthankara, correct swastik form with three dots and siddhashila, no borrowed iconography, correct Svetambara depiction, no kandmool in food graphics, verified Prakrit text, and tithi-correct dates.
Do I need any design skill?
No. You pick a template, tap the text to change it, add your sangh or family name, and download. Most people finish their first design in under five minutes.
Is this cheaper than a local designer?
A single poster from a designer usually runs ₹500 to ₹2,000 and takes a day or two of back-and-forth. A month pass costs less than three posters and covers unlimited designs.
